GLAD House is proud to congratulate our Founder, Dr. Beatrice C. Lampkin, on being recognized by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber as a Great Living Cincinnatian. She was inducted with the Class of 2012 at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner on February 16th.

Dr. Lampkin has dedicated her life to improving the lives of children and their families through her care, vision and leadership.

The children

Since 1998, GLAD House is the only comprehensive program in Cincinnati that provides a unique intensive treatment and intervention program for high-risk children who have mental health and behavioral problems as a result of living with a family member with addiction.
 We have been empowering children and strengthening families to break the cycle of addiction through counseling, alcohol and drug prevention education, recreational activities and academic support for over a decade.

GLAD House works!

When children see alternatives, their confidence grows. Their grades improve. They start to believe they can and will make smarter choices. Each year children walk through the doors of GLAD House toward a better future.
