In January 2005, Glad House was awarded a $9,000 grant from the Compassion Capital Fund through the Volunteers of America, the Ohio River Valley’s Faith Based and Community Resource Center. This award will allow us to upgrade our phones and computers, and purchase appropriate software for record keeping.
Also in January, at a time when the City of Cincinnati was drastically cutting its Human Services funds, we were able to secure the renewal of our $25,000 Human Services grant, which helps fund general operations.
