We are blessed with a wealth of dedicated individuals who help GLAD House thrive by giving tirelessly of their time, talent and treasure.
Founder and Past President Dr. Beatrice Lampkin holds the vision and stays active in the organization by writing grants and serving on the Executive Committee.
President Mary Schwaderer coordinates all fund raising, publication, volunteer and Board activities.
Executive Director Adrienne Cenci runs day-to-day operations, including staffing and coordination with funding and community partners.
Our Volunteers
Because funding is limited, GLAD House has always relied heavily on volunteers. Anne Poehlman, Adell Elliot, Ann Elliot, Ty Virgil, Jackie Donaghue and Julie Gecks have been with GLAD House from the beginning. Jackie has even recruited a circle of friends who each bring dinner once a month. A number of students from Mariemont, Moeller and Xavier high schools and Xavier University also generously share their time.
These and other volunteers help in the office, kitchen and study room, bringing meals, and tutoring GLAD House children. They also assist with special events.
More volunteers are always needed. If you can give a few hours, call Beatrice Lampkin at 636-8609, or Adrienne Cenci at GLAD House, 641-5530. |
