April 23rd Update:

With the Governor’s new order this week, K-12 schools will be closed the rest of the academic year, and UTS transportation will still be suspended. The Champs Program will continue to be suspended through the end of May. Please check back for updates on GLAD House's summer program.

March 24th Update:

Governor Mike DeWine has ordered an official “stay at home order” for the state of Ohio, effective March 23 at 11:59 PM through April 6 at 11:59 PM. GLAD House staff will continue to be accessible. If you would like a phone call from our staff, please leave a voicemail at their extension at 513-641-5530, send an email, or call their cell.

March 13th Update:

The Ohio Governor announced that Ohio Schools will be closed at the end of the school day Monday March 16th through April 3rd. 


Our transportation service notified us that they are suspending transportation services beginning Monday March 16th through Friday April 3rd.


Therefore, GLAD House will NOT have the Champs Program from Monday March 16th through Thursday April 2nd.


Know that we will keep open communication with our families and will inform of any updates or changes as soon as we are aware.


Basic Precautions


  1. Clean your hands.  Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.  Use hand sanitizer if soap and water is not an option.

  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  3. Cover your mouth and nose.  Cover your cough or sneeze with tissue, then discard the tissue properly. If a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your elbow.

  4. Avoid close contact.  Avoid exposure to infected individuals or people who are sick. The general rule to follow is to stay 6 feet away or more from someone who is sick.

  5. Stay home when you are sick. Monitor for fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

  6. Practice other good health habits. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.  And get your flu shot – it’s not too late!
