Fall Festivities!

At GLAD House, we were excited to welcome fall with our Fall Bash!

During our fall celebration, each of our three groups decorated their room doors for our annual door-decorating contest, then voted on their favorites.

Group 1 made a spooky pumpkin patch that showed the "Great Skills" they are Harvesting, like "cooperation" and "how to identify feelings"!

Group 2 modeled their door after their favorite fun movie, Monsters, Inc.! We love the 3D effect.

Group 3 got into the spirit and also modeled their door after THEIR favorite movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas!

The kids got to trick-or-treat through the building, visiting other group rooms and staff members for candy. For many of our children, they do not have access to a safe neighborhood in which to go trick-or-treating. GLAD House provides them with a safe place to enjoy the festivities, have fun with friends, and—of course—get candy!

Finally, the staff got into the Fall spirit by dressing up in team costumes—Emojis! We had heart emojis, happy emojis, nerdy emojis, and even poo emojis. What do you think of our costumes? ;) ;) ;)
