Accredited by the Council on Accreditation ~ COA
The Council on Accreditation is an independent, not-for-profit international accreditor of the full continuum of community-based behavioral health care and human service organizations.
In 2018, GLAD House received excellent scores on the COA standards through our most recent re-accreditation process. This distinction attests that GLAD House exemplifies COA’s program of quality improvement that is designed to identify providers that have met high performance standards and have made a commitment to their stakeholders to deliver the very best quality services. This is verified through the detailed review and analysis of both an organization’s administrative operations and its service delivery as “measured” against the national standards of best practice.
In 2010, GLAD House celebrated the honor of receiving expedited re-accreditation approval from the Council on Accreditation, as a result of achieving compliance with all of the required fundamental practice standards!
GLAD House was recognized as an outstanding provider of quality services when it first received national accreditation in 2006.
