Studies over the past few decades have proven that delaying the age of first use is one crucial element of preventing future substance abuse and addiction. According to the 2024 "PreventionFirst!" Greater Cincinnati Student Drug Use survey, 13.2% and 12.8% of 12th graders in our community have used alcohol and drugs in the past 30 days. The GLAD House Champs Program is designed for the crucial age range of 5-12, hoping to intervene before the first use can occur and help children live their fullest of lives.

 

We serve children from all neighborhoods in Hamilton County with a comprehensive approach that emphasizes supporting the children's mental health needs while addressing alcohol and drug prevention strategies.
