GLAD House Pride

What does it mean to have pride? Pride in yourself? Pride in your group?

Pride can come from many sources, but ultimately it can be defined as self-respect and a feeling of satisfaction over an accomplishment. It can also be a feeling you get from being a part of something bigger than yourself, like a team.

The group members worked together to design a logo for their team jerseys. Then they were asked: what is it about their group room that makes them feel proud to be a part of it? Each team member worked individually to identify positive qualities and strengths of their team to write on their jersey.
