We were very sad to say goodbye to two of our outgoing board members, Julie Geiler and Sara Rorer, who have retired at the end of their terms. Mindfulness Mandalas
At GLAD House we have incorporated mindfulness activities into our daily schedule. Mindfulness is simply... noticing what is happening right now. Mindfulness is taking notice of how your body feels and what you see, hear, smell, and taste. We asked the kids, “Do Superheroes have flaws?” Of course they do! A hero with no flaws is boring! We like Superheroes who change and grow through the course of a story.
