Penguin Alert!

Sandy the African Penguin has visited GLAD House! The GLAD House kids asked lots of great questions, and learned things like:

🐧 African Penguins are very social, and will preen each other (or their favorite humans!)

🐧 Penguins can sneeze, but usually do it to clear salt water from their noses.

🐧 Penguins LOVE to eat, and like to bulk up during nesting season. The Newport Aquarium has an entire kitchen just for the penguins!
